10.    Education Foundation Donation

Mr. Parrotta of the Rocky Hill Education Foundation will announce the most the recent donation to the physical education program.  Jane Gregg and students will be present to demonstrate Dance, Dance Revolution.

 

11.    Gifted Education

Dr. Jeanne Purcell, State Consultant for Gifted Education, will be present to discuss the State’s position on the provision of services for students deemed to be gifted.

 

12.    Education in China

Terry Wilson will share her experiences from a recent tour of China and its educational system.

 

13.    NCLB Data

Ms. Levy will review the most recent data concerning Adequate Yearly Progress under the requirements of the No Child Left Behind legislation.

 

14.    IDEA Charges

Ms. Levy will summarize changes in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

 

15.    Time Study

Mrs. Boutilier will discuss formation of a committee to study ways to make better use of time.

 

16.    National Education Grant

Mrs. Boutilier and Mrs. Thibodeau will discuss a grant that is being pursued to enhance our efforts at the high school to embed reading instruction across all areas of the curriculum.

 

17.    Audit Report

Ms. Levy

will review the results of an audit report by the accounting firm of Scully & Wolf concerning various student data basis.
