Minutes of Meeting

A special meeting of the Facilities Committee of the Rocky Hill Board of Education was held on Thursday, May 19, 2005, in the superintendent's conference room. Present were: Peter Arico, Anne Schmidt, Catherine Vargas, Nadine Bell, Francis Palazzolo, Neil Geldof, Director of Finance & Operations Gregory P. Turansky, and Supt. of Schools Dr. J. A. Camille Vautour. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

The status of the school feasibility study was reviewed. Schoenhardt architectural firm met with representatives of Facilities and government Operations committees. The feasibility study will include:

• Structural review
• School needs/educational programs
• General overview, and
• External review.

Walk-throughs of each building are being coordinated through Mr. Turansky. Committee meetings are scheduled for each month. The report is due from Schoenhardt on August 12, 2005.

The meeting adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
