Minutes of Meeting

A special meeting of the Policy Committee of the Rocky Hill Board of Education was held on Thursday, February 16, 2006, in the superintendent's conference room. Present were: Committee Chair Jennifer Viggiano-Grosse, Committee Member Nadine Bell, Board Members, Neil Geldof, Peter Arico, Catherine Vargas, and Rene Rivard, Director, Finance & Operations Gregory P. Turansky, and Supt. of Schools J. A. Camille Vautour. The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.

Discussion was held on the proposed revisions to Policy 1330 – Facilities Use (Fees). Agreement was reached on the need to create a checklist for cafeteria/kitchen use. This would be given out to people at the time they register to reserve the space.

The policy as worded was deemed appropriate by the committee and will be submitted to the full Board for first reading at the March meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
