11.    Recognition of Retirees

The Board of Education will recognize recent district retirees with tokens of appreciation.  Those to be honored are:  teachers, Alice Bevvino, Lorraine Elliott, Jane Gregg, Ilona Laporte, Carol Maturo, Susan Ostroski, Barbara Rawski, Judith Richey, T. Christopher Sheehan, Ruth Washcalis, Principal Robert Pitocco, and School Nurse Susan Garrett.

 

12.    FLES

Mrs. Boutilier and committee members will discuss work done on exploring the creation of an elementary world language program.

 

13.    Curriculum Mapping

Mrs. Boutilier and members of the staff will discuss progress in the mapping of the district’s curricula.

 

14.    2007-08 Budget

Mrs. Schmidt will request approval of the 2007-08 budget after a brief presentation by Mr. Turansky.

 

15.    School Lunch Workers Contract

Mr. Turansky will ask the Board to indicate their intention relative to the orderly transition of services to the district’s food services management company.

 

16.    Senior Citizen Tax Deferral Program

A summary report will be presented on this year’s Senior Citizen Tax Deferral Program.
