Special Education Survey

The State Department of Education’s Bureau of Special Education is once again conducting a statewide

survey of special education services. Rocky Hill is one of 56 school districts who are participating in this

year’s survey. Parents and guardians of special education students will receive this brief confidential

survey in the mail and/or email beginning on August 19, 2015. Glenn Martin Associates is working in

partnership with the State to distribute the surveys and collect the data. Parents have until September

18 to complete the brief survey.

The purpose of the survey is to collect information on parent involvement in the special education

process. It is intended to provide input for the State’s efforts to improve services and results for

Connecticut students with disabilities. If you have any questions or require support for completing the

survey, please contact our department of Special Education and Pupil Services at 860-258-77-01 ext.
